The Bangkok Dock Company Limited
The Bangkok Dock Company Limited or formerly known as Bangkok Dock Co. was established in 1865 by an Englishman, Captain Bush, who was later named Phraya Wisut Sakhondit. It is located on Charoen Krung or New Road at the bank of Chao Phraya River in the Yannawa District. After a time, when the Royal Navy became the only shareholders of business, the name was changed to Bangkok Dock Company (1957) Limited.

The Embassy of the United Kingdom
The new British Embassy was constructed on land in the Ploenchit area that once belonged to Phraya Phakdi Noraset, who was commonly known as Nai Lert. The land was acquired in exchange for a part of the Legation premises on Charoen Krung Road that bordered the bank of Chao Phraya River. In front is the War Memorial and the Statue of Queen Victoria that was transferred from the previous site of the Legation. Beyond is the Minister's residence officially completed in 1926. In 1947, the British Legation was upgraded in level to become the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Thailand. The current premises were recently transferred in ownership to a private sector in 2018. Once again, the Embassy is in the process of moving to a new site in the near future.

Himmaphan House or Sam Saen Park
The place is situated on the side of Sam Saen Road. Phra Sapphakan Hiranyakit (Choei Itsaraphakdi), the manager of Siam Commercial Bank at the time, built this place as a park open to the public for a fee, to come visit and enjoy. The construction was complete in 1908. Many buildings are in the compound; shown here is the Pink Building. Later, the ownership of the land and its premises were transferred to the Siam Commercial Bank, which was subsequently graciously bought by King Rama VI with his private funds for the Department of Sanitation of the Metropolitan Ministry for use as a sanatorium to heal people. Today the place is the Vajira Hospital.
The two men who appear in the photo are Phra Phromabhibal (Khaek), the father, on the left, and Phra Sapphakan Hiranyakit (Choei Itsaraphakdi), on the right.
