Die Thai Botschaft London hat nun die Anforderungen zum Antrag auf das Non-Imm-O/A aktualisiert und auf den neusten Stand gebracht. Ich denke die Thai Botschaft Berlin wird bald folgen.

Es sollte weiterhin beachtet werden, dass wie immer sämtliche Verlautbarungen mit Vorsicht zu geniessen sind und ebenso die Regelauslegung einzelner Beamter, sei es in Ihrer Funktion als Botschaftsmitarbeiter oder als Immigrationspolizei
London Thai Embassy website now updated and requesting Health insurance for Non Immigrant O-A Visa applications. Start date as of today. It appears to be saying needing Insurance immediately for new applications.
Copy of evidence stating that applicants have insurance as stipulated by the Office of Insurance Commission and health insurance of Thailand which has insurance coverage for outpatient not less than 40,000 Baht and for inpatient not less than 400,000 Baht.

In the case where the accompanying spouse is not eligible to apply for the O-A visa, he or she will be considered for temporary stay under Category “O” visa. A marriage certificate must be provided as evidence.
First year, all applicants can buy health insurance from insurance companies in their owned countries or authorized insurance company in Thailand. When the applicants want to renew the visa, the applicants must buy insurance from authorized insurance companies in Thailand only. Any inquiries on completing Insurance application can be addressed at each insurance company.

Möchte man das Non-Imm-O/A Visum ins zweite Jahr verlängern, muss eine thailändische KV abgeschlossen werden (die Immigration prüft NICHT die ausländische KV, das macht nur die Botschaft bei Antragsstellung. Dafür kann die Immigration den Abschluss einer thailändischen KV ohne Verständigungsprobleme prüfen und als gültig erachten)
