Das Verkehrsministerium hat 14 Infrastrukturprojekte vorgestellt, deren Kosten auf 570 Mrd. Baht geschätzt werden und die laut Verkehrsminister Suriya Juangroongruangkit bis Ende 2024 in Angriff genommen werden sollen.
Davon Eisenbahnprojekte die unter Prayith in Planung gingen:
The 167km dual track railroad project between Khon Kaen and Nong Khai. Investment is estimated at about 29.7 billion baht.
The Orange Line train project between Bang Khun Non and Min Buri. Investment is estimated at about 140 billion baht and construction is expected to start in May.
Extension of the Red Line from Rangsit to Thammasat University. Construction is estimated at 6.4 billion baht and is expected to begin in September.
Extension of the Red Line from Taling Chan to Salaya. Construction is estimated at 10.6 billion baht and is expected to commence in September.
Dual track railway between Chira Road and Ubon Ratchathani province. Construction is estimated at about 37.5 billion baht and is expected to commence in September.
Extension of the Red Line between Taling Chan and Siriraj. Construction is estimated at 4.6 billion baht and is expected to commence September.
The Thai-Chinese high-speed train project between Nakhon Ratchasima and Nong Khai. Construction is estimated at about 300 billion baht and is expected to begin in December.
